Manufacturers are moving toward electic power steering in cars and this trend will continue as motors become more powerful enabling larger vehicles to benefit from this new technology. Accident prevention and mitigation can also benefit from EPS as it enables potential shared vehicle control or even autonomous steering to help a driver choose a safe path.
