James Goss

Dr James Goss received the MEng degree in systems engineering from the University of Warwick in 2009 and in 2014 received an Engineering Doctorate from the University of Bristol in the design of brushless permanent magnet machines for automotive traction. He is currently the Head of Research and Innovation at Motor Design Ltd where he mainly works on automotive R&D projects and software development.

In his presentation, Mr. Goss, Head of Research at Motor Design Ltd, reveals the key challenges for electric machines and existing vehicle architectures.
